Brian Kendrick training Eva Marie for WWE at Santino Bros. Wrestling dojo – 2015

Brian Kendrick School of Pro Wrestling

Brian Kendrick’s Class at Santino Bros. Wrestling 2014

Do you think you have what it takes? The Brian Kendrick School of Pro Wrestling runs as a 3 hour a day, 1 day a week for 10 weeks.  The entire program is 4 courses of 10 sessions (Beginners, Intermediate, Advanced and Semi Pro). This program  is designed to teach those with the desire to be a pro-wrestler how to do so from the ground up.

Or take the opportunity finish training in 12 weeks with our boot camp course. The boot camp course will run 3 hours a day, 3 days a week on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday’s from 10am to 1pm.  This program  is also designed to teach those with the desire to be a pro-wrestler how to do so from the ground up.

Everyday at camp we will start off with a jog and stretch, then a routine of rolls and bumps that I will teach you over the course of the first week which we will continue to perfect until the completion of the camp. During that 12 weeks we will work on the basic holds up to the more complicated submissions, how to run the ropes, hit the turnbuckles, basic moves such as head lock take overs, arm drags, hip tosses, dropkicks, suplexes, etc.. as well as catering towards individual strengths and desires be it a high flyer, a power wrestler, a comedic performer, you name it I will do my best to help you flourish as the best version of you that you want to be.

We will work on not only the hows of wrestling but also the whys. Moves can be observed and duplicated to some extent in a monkey see monkey do sort of way, but the reasoning behind the motion is not so easy to replicate. This is my personal favorite part of wrestling, the creating of drama or levity through movements of the body and expressions on the face when things are done at just the right moment and this is why I believe wrestling is story telling. My hope is that all students that graduate my camp will have a firm grasp of the psychology of pro-wrestling that will give them an advantage in their pursuit of their dreams.

We don’t gloss over what is the reason so many of us fell in love with pro-wrestling, Promos. During our 12 weeks we will work on developing a personality that will hopefully be captivating enough that someday people will pay money for a tshirt of the person who has that personality. In fact promos became such a hit in practice that our “Wrestling Pro Wrestling” class promos has spun off into a real place for students to have their first match.

Brian Kendrick’s Wrestling Pro Wrestling in Bell Gardens, CA. 2014

Wrestling Pro Wrestling is a promotion that was designed with the student in mind, a place for them to wrestle after the graduate from school. It is hard to get a job with out anything on your resume and nothing to show to people who would want to hire you. With Wrestling Pro Wrestling you are given the opportunity to start developing a wrestling resume, which comes along with the thrill of wrestling in front of a live crowd sharing a locker room. We at Wrestling Pro Wrestling have been very lucky to have some of the most talented wrestlers from the area come work on these shows, guys and gals who have worked hard for the love of wrestling, guys and gals who have been kind to the students, all of who I wish make millions of dollars some day.

At the The Brian Kendrick School of Pro Wrestling once a student always, you only pay for the 12 weeks, and after graduation you are welcome to train with future camps at no additional cost.

About Brian Kendrick

Brian Kendrick has been wrestling professionally around the world since 1999 after he himself trained under legendary wrestlers and trainers Shawn Michaels and Rudy Boy Gonzalez in Texas at the Shawn Michael’s Wrestling Academy then William Regal, Tracy Smothers, Robbie Brookside and Bobby Eaton in WWE’s developmental territory MCW in Memphis.  He has taken their collective teachings and has used that knowledge to open up opportunities to wrestle in both the WWE and TNA in the United States, for NJPW, AJPW, Zero-One, and Hustle in Japan, as well as Mexico and throughout Europe and Australia on an independent level.

Brian, at 5’9″ and around 175LBS, is not the size of a stereo typical Pro-Wrestler, with out any great athletic background, has been lucky enough to accomplish what he has thanks to great training and hard work.  His hope is to pass on what he has learned and inspire students to work their hardest so they can achieve their dreams of allowing Pro Wrestling to take them around the world as well.
