His final words to Joey Kaos, his wrestling brother, was “Keep the Dream Alive”  and with his passing, the doors to Santino Bros were opened for the first time in 2008.

“Keep The Dream Alive” -Dynamite D

A very sad anniversary goes down tomorrow. Ill never forget April 11th, 2007 that was the day we lost Darren ” Dynamite D” McMillan. Darrens passing really stopped me in my tracks, his paasing was my inspiration to start Santino Bros Wrestling Academy…..I wish I never had that inspiration, I wish he was still here. I was such a fuck up and Darren always believed in me and never had a problem giving me tough love when most wrote me off as a disrespectful asshole. I only knew the cool calm collective Veteran that had all the answers Darren. But he was a hot head like me in his younger days. I think that’s why he took me under his wing when most hated me. If you think Eli is bad, that’s cause Yall never knew 22 year old Kaos. I was either loved by few and hated by most. Darren loved me and I’ll never forget that, I’ll never be able to repay him either. His last words to me were “you gotta keep the dream alive” 9 years later i find myself the same age D was when he was taken away. My question has always been why is he gone? Why I’m I still here? The anwer I’ve learned….FOR THOSE THE GODS LOVE MOST, DIE YOUNG. Rest In Power big brother.

Not a day goes by that D is not felt in spirit at the dojo.  His banner hangs proudly in our dojo as he is and will forever be our Guardian Angel.  His love of wrestling is felt every training session as we strive to keep his memory alive and his spirit in every class that is trained at our dojo.  He  may be gone, but he will never ever be forgotten. At 8pm this evening, please join us in sharing a toast for our fallen brother.
