Congratulations to Jake Atlas on signing an exclusive contract with WWE!

Santino Bros. Wrestling’s very own Jake Atlas aka Kenny Marquez signs an exclusive contract with World Wrestling Entertainment! This is Santino Bros. Wrestling’s first graduate to sign with WWENXT. It’s amazing news not only for Jake Atlas, Santino Bros. Wrestling, fellow wrestlers & Students but also the Southern California Pro Wrestling scene. At last indeed! Much love and respect. ???

“I walked into Santino Bros Wrestling Academy in July of 2014. My very first class was a private lesson with Robby Phoenix. The very first thing I told Robby was: “I want to fast track the indies and make it to WWE.”

I was unfamiliar with the independents and wanted to secure a future for my family. That was my mentality. Robby then taught me everything he knew and then some. With the help of Los Luchas and Kevin Cassidy, I received some of the most elite training in Southern California.

Along came Joey Muñoz as I was reaching graduation and our bond solidified my passion. I fell in love with independent wrestling in general and wanted to become great at it. He inspired my work ethic and determination to be better everyday. My father left me at a young age, but I’m lucky to have a found Joey amidst that chaos. No pun intended.

I am proud of my school and I wanted to be the first graduate to sign with WWE. Despite its critics, Santino Bros. shares the same core values with anyone that loves professional wrestling. You can’t deny that.

I’ll always remember where I came from. I am now working for the biggest wrestling company in the world. This is for me. This is for Robby, Zokre, Phoenix Star, and Kevin. This is for Joey and Sylvia. This is for Lucas, Dominic, and Alonzo. This is for Brody. This is for all of my brothers and sisters at the school. This is for all who identity as LGBTQ+. This is for my first-generation Mexican-American peers.

Most importantly, this is for my mom because without her, none of this would have been possible. She’s my motivation to wake up and fight for everyday because that’s what she’s done for her kids her entire life.
