ZOMBIE-JACK MATCH

Jervis Cottonbelly vs. Koto Hiro

In the opening bout of the night, the Japanese SoCal-newcomer Koto Hiro was set to face off against “The World’s Sweetest Man” Jervis Cottonbelly, but as the match progressed, it became clear that the competitors in the ring had other problems to worry about aside from their scheduled opponents. Soon after Koto & Jervis began their exchange, the zombies started filing in one after another, and they were hungry! Koto & Jervis were forced to work together to fend off the zombies, and after some premature celebration on the part of Cottonbelly, Koto Hiro was able to steal the win with a small package.

ONE ON ONE – TEACHER VS. STUDENT

Guy Cool vs. Robby Phoenix

At the Return of the Santino Bros. Dojo Shows two months ago, we saw Robby Phoenix face off against Jake Atlas in a heated Student vs. Teacher match that went awry. Robby decidedly ended the match in a losing fashion via disqualification, after he attacked Jake with a steel chair. This time, Robby would compete against yet another one of his students, the up & coming “Party Captain” Guy Cool! These guys went tit for tat, Guy Cool tossing stuff at Robby that Robby would catch and throw right back, and after some good back & forth action, Robby was able to pick up the victory with a big pop-up powerbomb!

ONE ON ONE

Eli Everfly vs. Zokre

The fans of SBWA were hot for this one! In what was sure to be a fast-paced & hard-hitting battle, Eli Everfly faced off against one half of Los Luchas in Zokre. From strikes to submissions to high-flying, these guys threw so much at each other, but it was a submission that marked the end when Zokre tied Eli up in a modified STF “The Fly” had no choice but to tap out to.

3-WAY DANCE

Ruby Raze vs. Heather Monroe vs. Marriah Moreno

The fans in attendance got a real treat with this one: 3-Way Dance women’s action, & these ladies were a real triple threat. Ruby Raze would introduce her incarnation of “Razy Kruger” at the expense of Heather Monroe & the returning Santino Bros. Alum, Marriah Moreno. Razy Kruger took her opponents to Elm Street, & at one point, had every person in the ring (including the ref!) in a sleep state after choking them out with a sleeper hold. Marriah & Heather worked together throughout the match trying to keep Raze down, but Raze would solidify her dominance pinning Heather Monroe after a vicious Saito suplex for the win.

ONE ON ONE – GRUDGE MATCH

Douglas James vs. Brody King (w/ Tyler Bateman & Ruby Raze)

Little did anyone know, with the exception of one man, this match had been months in the making…At the last dojo show, Brody King returned from injury and blindsided Douglas James after a hard-fought battle against the aforementioned Jake Atlas, challenging Doug to a fight at Violence & KAOS. DJ accepted, and it led to this. James entered first, alone, ready to go, but when Brody King made his way into the dojo, that’s when things really got interesting. The entire energy of the room changed when everyone in attendance, Douglas James included, realized that Brody wasn’t alone that night…because Brody brought back up.

In the form of Tyler Bateman, Ruby Raze, & the accompanied Brody King, right there in the Santino Bros dojo was intimidation personified. It was clear that Douglas James realized as well that he may have been in danger, so right off the bat James fired off on Brody, rocking him with several hard dropkicks & any other strike he could get in. Brody would soon chop him down, but Douglas was able to continue some strong offense throughout the match. Unfortunately for DJ, the numbers game would prove effective, as Brody would capitalize on a distraction from Ruby Raze, nailing DJ with a crippling lariat for the win.

SUBMISSION CHAMPIONSHIP

BC Killer (C) vs. Laberinto

Both Santino Bros. championships were on the line tonight, as the longest reigning Submission Champion, BC Killer, defended his title against a formidable opponent in Laberinto. BC lived up to his name throughout the match as he relentlessly targeted Laberinto’s back, hitting him with several 350 pound elbow drops and sentons, either going for the TKO, or wearing the challenger down for an easy submission. It appeared as if BC Killer would continue his reign as the longest reigning Submission Champion, but he’d suddenly find himself the victim of a tight Guillotine front neck lock at the hands of the challenger, & was forced to tap out before he was choked out, crowning Laberinto the NEW Submission Champion!

DYNAMITE D FLASHBACK BATTLE ROYAL

It was a rumble for the ages, and it should’ve been, as it was in memoriam of one of the Santino Bros. founding fathers, the late great “Dynamite D”. Every year during the Halloween show, it has become tradition that a “flashback” costume battle royal take place, and on this night the stars were out and shining bright!

…Well, sort of.

With tribute performances to throwback superstars like “Razor Ramon,” “American Bad Ass” Undertaker, Rowdy “Razy” Piper, “Stone Cold” & “The Blondertaker,” it was a thoroughly entertaining match that included apppearances by “Sable,” “Mr. Perfect,” & “‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage” (all of whom lost their hair at some point in the match). In the end, it was Macho Man that came out on top, eliminating the Blondertaker to win the rumble!

SANTINO BROS. HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP

Joey Kaos (C) (w/ Jezabel) vs. Tyler Bateman (w/ Brody King & Ruby Raze)

After all the fun of the flashback battle royal, it was back to business with the Santino Bros. Heavyweight Championship on the line, as Joey Kaos would defend his title against Tyler Bateman, in what was sure to be a hotly contested bout. Much like in Douglas James’ match earlier in the night, the energy of the room changed once again, as Tyler Bateman made his way to the ring accompanied by the previously victorious Brody King & Ruby Raze. The menacing trio entered the room led by the challenger, and moments later, the champion would appear, Jezabel in tow.

The ringside guests quickly started in on the trash talk in favor of their supported competitor, as Bateman & Kaos began their exchange. Two masters of a number of holds and counters surely close to the thousands, these fighters locked up in all kinds of different ways, Bateman choosing the arm and hands as the focal point of his attack, & Kaos finding his way out at every turn. But after some time, Kaos managed to grab a mean headlock on Bateman, and with that, he took control of the match for the better part of its remainder.

Through shoot offs, elbows, roll ups, and back suplexes from Tyler Bateman, Kaos held on to that headlock for dear life, squeezing & wrenching, trying to cut off the blood supply to Bateman’s brilliantly sick & twisted brain. He did a great deal of damage in his attempt, as Bateman faded a number of times while sitting in that headlock, but once Bateman was finally able to escape, the tide of the match changed & things got a lot more volatile.

Elbows & forearms were thrown and caught with jaws & full faces as these guys battled it out for the most prestigious prize in Santino Bros. Wrestling. Kaos would soon regain control & go for a Ganso Bomb, but Tyler Bateman would reverse his way out of it. They tangled up for a moment, & Kaos found his way into position for the Ganso Bomb yet again & this time, hit it successfully. He went for the cover…but it STILL wasn’t enough to keep Bateman down!

In a panic, Jezabel jumped on the apron to distract Bateman, the ref, & anyone else she could to help Kaos’ seemingly thinning chance of winning the match & retaining his title, but the attention she garnered was from the last person she would’ve ever hoped for in that moment, her Superstar’s. Kaos rolled out of a back suplex attempt, pushed Bateman into the ropes & rolled him up for a pin, but he rammed Bateman right into Jezabel in the process, knocking her to the floor. Bateman kicked out hard at ‘2’, sending a concerned Kaos toward the ropes where Jezabel was lying down on the concrete; on the rebound, Bateman tripped Kaos up with a table top, came down on the champ’s face with a huge forearm & went for the cover.
